UPDATE on Trekkers

I have just spoken to Weeksey on the mobile, she said to say that everyone is ok. There are some injuries and a few non-walkers now. They are all exhausted I beleive. There are NO dodgy tummies to report and the food has been fantastic along the way. They had Vietnamese style fish and chips for lunch today, not sure how that worked, probably with rice!!!
We are looking forward to joining them on Thursday. I will pass on all your messages of love and support to keep them going through the next leg of this epic adventure. We are back here online again next Thursday, hopefully from about 4pm ish our time. Pray it doesnt rain or we will have to walk 15km instead of 3km to pick up the mini buses. FB to the ready!!!
Love Biz xx

  1. Biz, good to read the updates you and Alice have been doing, sounds really tough for you all. We look at the tracker at every opportunity and see what you have achieved - amazing, you have done so well. Just hope the sun comes out for you soon and you will all be back together.

Good Day Sunshine (Beatles) or Sunshine Help Me (Spooky Tooth) seem appropriate now. Love & Respect, hope everyone's doing OK

Hope the final part of the trek is easy going and the sun shines for the bridge building. At least you will have a chance to rest your feet and dry your socks!

Lots of love to Scarlett from Mum, Alex and Freddie

Glad to hear everyone is ok and thank you Biz for keeping us up to date. Fish and chips sounds interesting! Good luck for your reunion on Thursday hope the weather keeps dry. Hope you all have a chance to rest before the bridge building begins and recover from injuries and sore feet.
Thinking of you all during this tough journey.

    Lots of love Weeksey

  5. Great to have update from the trekkers.

I...er...may have circulated the photo of Weeksy with the Gaffer-tape-crotch-trouser look to a few people at college (we still can't get the blog from school). Can I be clear about one thing? It's one of the funniest photos in ages!! Please pass our thanks to Jen for making us smile when you see her and tell her that we hope the chafing has not been too terrible!!

Trek is always tough but the sense of achievement is huge at the end of it. Am sorry for Jayne and Alice for missing that but mostly for the fact that you will not be used to the terrible terrible smell when you next see them. They will smell AWFUL and not even fully understand how bad!

Can only imagine trek "fish and chips". Nice.
